When a satellite is up hundreds of miles high, the line of sight distance goes up thousands of miles. Is there something so esoteric about that you can't understand?

Why don't you use the formula YOU already provided to find out how far a line of sight signal can go from a ground station to ISS or any other satellite a couple hundred miles high.

Of course the real intent of that statement is to prove how video's from ISS are just graphics done in a computer lab. Your motivation is pretty transparent. I said 2 degrees. So where is YOUR analysis of the same situation? You want to be able to prove Earth would cover half the sky if your flatasssearth crap is to be true.

You can't seem to understand if that is how things are for real, we would have figured that out 200 years ago or more, Galileo would have seen proof of that the first time he looked at the moon or the sun. For instance, sunspots would have been much easier to spot and craters on the moon would have been a lot easier to resolve. Of course none of that makes the slightest bit if difference since your MO is 'don't confuse me with facts, my mind is already made up' or whatever is LEFT of your mind after this brilliant brainwashing your flatasss buddies pulled on you. Pull up the most recent 100 captured videos.
Pull up ANY 100 captured videos and do the math: count how many times the recorded capture (not even including the times within the videos themselves) the screen is blue.
These are not mere "scrambles to get sync back" but rather, hours-long drop of stream.
And not when maintenance or updates are being performed: routinely loss of service.
If this thing is ~250 miles up with a line of sight extending into the thousands of miles, there wouldn't ever be a time without the ability to stream.

You're basing that number on a person's position on the earth, not from Mr. Kitty's view of the earth while on the moon.
Put yourself in Mr. Kitty's artificial preserving suit, look up into the sky as depicted in that animation.
If you come back with 2 degrees again, it only shows you refuse to consider the evidence before you.

The view point of people on the moon would be exactly the same as we see from Earth. If we were looking at a planet 8000 miles wide in the place of Luna it would cover 2 degrees of the night sky which would be exactly the same as viewing Earth from Luna.

Imagine an earth (EA) and its moon (MA) the same size as ours, but instead of hundreds of thousands of miles apart, they're only 10,000 miles apart.
Now put the exact same set up--- earth (EB) and moon (MB), 10,000 miles apart--- 234,000 miles away and stand on EA.
From EA, MA covers the side facing it.
However, when looking at MB, let's say that moon only takes up, say, two degrees of the sky.
With EB only 10,000 miles away from it, does EB appear to be the same size as MB for you?
Does MB cover up the same amount of sky--- two degrees--- as EB, which is three times larger in diameter?
Or does EB look three times bigger than MB?

If you had actually had the reading comprehension to understand what I said, the moon is about 30% smaller so it shows about 1/2 degree from Earth but Earth would show about 2 degrees as seen from the moon.
