Double Chess : How To Play Double Chess

Double Chess

Played on a double width board, 12x16, with a duplicate set of pieces.

Double Chess is played on an 8 x 16 board (i.e. two boards) with 2 sets of pieces. A third queen is substitured for the second King though. All rules remain the same as Standard Chess

Starting Position

The board double the width, and the game starts with one King and three Queens each.
Board is interactive - make a move

The moves of the pieces remains the same as Standard Chess.

Pawn promotion rules remains the same as Standard Chess.

Castling

When inside castling on queenside, the King moves to G file, and the rook the the H file. When castling on the kingside side, the King moves to the K file and the Rook to the J file.

When outside castling on queenside, the King moves to E file, and the rook the the F file. When castling on the kingside side, the King moves to the M file and the Rook to the I file.

En passant rules remains the same as Standard Chess.

Check and Checkmate rules remain the same as Standard Chess.

Stalemate conditions remain the same as Standard Chess.

Draw conditions remain the same as Standard Chess.

Winning conditions remain the same as Standard Chess.
