Well you make a strong point there, I must say.

Private is still private, same as I would not say anything you had asked me not to in Private Personal Message. Or worst post in the GF, of course you will say it would be removed immediately, but how many would see it first? I don't know if you get the point I am trying to make, or if I am explaining it, so you can understand it.

I believe a ruling should be made on this though, and in all fairness to the Mods, they really don't know what to do, and where it only involves TSM Club (so far), it is not a very high priority! 😉

Who do you think you are to tell me or anyone else for that matter where I or anyone else should stay. I pay the same amount as you do for membership, and infact I paid for 2 years at a time.

I understand your point. In principle, I agree with your point and would never repeat something in a PM without permission of the other person. I will say that PMs have been published in the General Forum before and while some of us have scolded the party for doing it, I don't recall us campaigning for their ban because of it. This is a typical hysterical overreaction from a few TSM crybabies, not because they're standing on the principle of privacy, but because the posts in question show blatant hypocrisy from RN (that is, of course, a dog bites man story).

That said, it seems to me a Private Forum with a large number of people is a different matter than a PM between two people as regards privacy.

Hiporcisy seems to run rampant here at RHP, and a lot of the time, it is the ones pointing the fingers who are usually the biggest hipocrits of the bunch. You left a Club whinning and crying, but I won't mention the clubs name, so don't even go there about calling TSM crybabies.

It only becomes a hysterical overreaction, when it does not concern you. When you are involved it changes its name somewhat doesn't it! 😉

Obviously we will not come to an agreement on this: Private should be Private, rather it is between two people or 100 People. According to you that is not the case, so I figure you have no problem with me mentioning you leaving a certain Club with your hair standing on end 😉

I don't allow myself to be censored in a Private Forum; when one club leader did, I left the club. There was no "whining and crying" involved.

Of course, your alluding to this incident which occurred in a Private Forum while at the same time claiming that what happens in Club forums is sacredly "private" is hypocritical in the extreme.

You certainly deserved to be censored and the Leader of that club did do the right thing. You just couldn't handle that you were wrong, and left all in a huff, that was really very childish indeed!

YOU are the one changing your tune; I personally don't care either way. But you've been raving for pages now about how important it is to keep what goes on in Club forums "private" but now that you think it's to your advantage to reveal something from a Private Forum, you do so in a heartbeat. That's hypocritical to the nth degree.

I clicked a button to leave the club; I didn't further post in the Forum or make an uproar - in fact, I didn't even complain to the Club leader. I stand on my principles even if you don't.

I wasn't in favour of you joining, but once you did, I did think you added to the club actually. It is just that you don't think "YOU" can ever be "WRONG", and you know what, you are probably wrong just as much of the time, as the rest of us are!

As I said, I just thought it was cute. I neither agreed nor disagreed with darvlay. And of course I didn't deny that it wasn't a personal attack, as it wasn't. But apparently you'd like it to be one, so as I said, feel free to interpret it that way. And don't forget to send an alert if you'd enjoy to have it removed.
