Hmmmmm....at face value....yes. But honestly, I do not see how I always criticize you. In the past, I have just reacted to your relentless questioning of my every a, an, the. lol

You always seemed to prefer to pick a fight with me...."tackle" my every thought. And I told you in the past, and here again tonight, that is just not my preference. No right or wrong here. I just found myself in constant defensive mode with you and it is not a pleasant way to converse. Others don't mind it...to each his/her own.

But on this occasion you initiated this exchange and you decided to "pick a fight", right? You accept that, yes? I'd say it's certainly not the first time. We could look it up, but I'm not going to. It hardly matters.

As for tackling your "every thought". If we post "thoughts" we disagree with, we are surely going to disagree about them. If you disagree with my "every thought" then I think it would be perfectly understandable if you tackled them.

In fact you did. You arrived on this thread an hour so ago and decided to tackle me. And so you should if that's what you want to do. But you can hardly complain this time about picking fights when it was you who picked this one.

I have not questioned you about "every a, an, the." I have questioned you on things like for your "unconditional" support for the actions of US allies (like Turkey) in their military operations, about how you think people should just think about their own families and not worry about global issues, and on another occasion when you went on about how you preferred your husband to divegeester in terms of how they come across as Christians. Nothing about questioning you over "every a, an, the" at all.

You are right here. You have questioned me on all of those things. And there lies the problem. That is your style...you enjoy questioning people ...relentlessly. And some posters do not mind...that's great. I, for one, do. I prefer conversation....a give and take where two or more posters actually care what the others' insights, experiences might be....more of an "exchange of ideas..."

I did not condemn either of you. I pointed out a parallel that I saw as blatantly hypocritical. In my opinion. And it "involved" me....so I felt comfortable in doing so.

I also stated that I don't care for hateful comments from anyone.

I have no desire to entrench myself in the various squabbles that you are a part of...and I would think you might understand why.

Well what else would you say when you sometimes say things you seem to not have thought through and seem unable to defend or explain? On the 'forget the world, just worry about your kids' issue it immediately turned out that you had absolutely no exchange of "ideas" to offer on your suggestion, just immediate resort to 'leave me alone leave me alone' or words to that effect. No wonder you felt besieged. Just a thought. You should, of course, post whatever you want. 😀

You conveniently failed to indicate the tone of that I comment I made months ago. Hmmm...just an oversight I'm sure? 🙂 It was CLEARLY tongue and cheek...I don't even have to go back and check because I am 100% certain that I had a smiley at the end of it to illustrate my lighthearted mindset when I posted it. And you know this.

And so, this is an example of what you do.

I will always defend and explain my thoughts when I feel as though there is mutual appreciation, consideration, openness, and respect.

What I will NOT do is defend and explain my thoughts to someone who just wishes to try and trivialize them or arrogantly question them as if they are automatically faulty.
