This thread was deliberately derailed by dweebjeester when he spitefully attempted to make a comparison between the moral reprehensibility of refusing intravenous blood transfusions and attempting to state that I should shut up about Christians lynching people on Sunday afternoons on that basis. If you want to blame anyone, i suggest you blame him.

Originally posted by robbie carrobieInnocents die in both cases. Religious convictions seem to be the cause/justification in both cases. They are both morally reprehensible. If I saw a man trying to hang a black man in order to please his God, or a parent trying to deliberately let his child die in order to please his God, I would hope that the police would cart both away, and I would welcome the fact that innocent lives were saved.
What about deaths resulting from intravenous blood transfusions, are they morally reprehensible the same as lynching a man on Sunday is morally reprehensible?

Yes it is the motivations that should be addressed. How the compassionate and self sacrificing example of Jesus Christ should be so distant as to be non existent is a matter of serious concern.
Why do you buy into the hate? Why do you foster more hate towards your own religion? Jesus of Nazareth was about love, because he is the Son of God. But you abandon him even now with your hate.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister, not a JW, so I'm sure your hate extends to him, too. He said this about hate: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
You have given yourselves over to mammon, you have far removed yourself from the teachings of Jesus the Christ. But we shall know you by your fruits.
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." -- Matthew 7:15-23, KJV
You are the false prophets, the ravening wolves who would sacrifice your own children for your man-made dogma, the corrupt trees bringing forth evil fruit, even as your leadership has blinded you with their own corrupt "bible", and you will be hewn down and cast into the fire. Jesus himself never knew you, and your iniquity will condemn you.
It's not too late to cleanse your robe in the blood of the Lamb, and to come home to God. May you find your way home just as the prodigal son did and may you embrace the love of the Christ and forsake your hate.

Its clear to me that you will not hold your hand up and condemn those people and state that Christianity as it is taught in the churches of Christendom is empty and devoid of anything.

This thread is not about divesgeester. All future references to him in person will be ignored.
Lets start, that would be 4000 persons your churches have lynched, mutilated, burnt and invited your friends and children to watch die. Please tell the forum how many Jehovah Witness have acted in a similar manner? Lets see if you can do it. And don't tell me what to do, you might be a tin hat forum dictator in your head, to me you are simply an ignorant religious bigot with no more love in your heart than the people who perpetrated these atrocities. Now you will answer the questions because for at this point you are winning 4000 dead and mutilated to nil.

Is this not the second or third time you have asked this?
So if I have indeed asked it a second or third time maybe it is because you are being evasive.
