Innocents die in both cases. Religious convictions seem to be the cause/justification in both cases. They are both morally reprehensible. If I saw a man trying to hang a black man in order to please his God, or a parent trying to deliberately let his child die in order to please his God, I would hope that the police would cart both away, and I would welcome the fact that innocent lives were saved.

Try to address the actual content. I am not interested in anything other than trying to understand how you can listen to a sermon about Jesus Christ and then go out and invite all your family and friends to watch a man lynched and mutilated as if it was a Sunday school picnic.

Its clear to me that you will not hold your hand up and condemn those people and state that Christianity as it is taught in the churches of Christendom is empty and devoid of anything.
