You need to get with DASA on this and take up his religion, if that is what you believe.

Who do you obey? It's either Jehovah God or satan. There is NO middle ground with this and no middle ground on blood and God's commands.
So, not a matter of personal conscience then?

And you wouldn't, you'd let them die, when a single meal could save their life.

So he is honered for that but what if Jehovah had not stopped him? What would your view of Abraham be now?
It's incredible that you attempt to underpin your deluded idiocy by pleading to the Abraham and Isaac incident. You remind me of these poor deluded people walking up and down the street dressed in shabby clothes shouting at the crowds of shoppers that "Jesus saves" - no doubt they would appeal to John the Baptist and his unorthodox preaching and lifestyle. Or perhaps president Obama will underpin his decision to send air strikes by appealing to Joshua's march around Jericho.

You bury your head deeper and deeper in your delusion, now trying to rationalise your endangering of children lives with whatever biblical parallel you can find. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

The main problem you have, is that are completely wrong.

Ah, of course, let's read the bible with context rather than trying to get it to fit our strange and dangerous beliefs.

Like I said before, I think allowing a child to die in order to please (or in order not to displease) a God figure is a form of human sacrifice. It is done in the hope of gaining personal salvation. You seem to be conceding this point, am I right? If not, please explain.

I just can't believe what I read in this forum sometimes; no wonder there is so much religious based crimes against humanity in the world. And let's be clear on this...allowing a child to die because of a religious belief IS a crime.

Dodging the question still I see, which is typical and hardly surprising.

most? most who?

he was someone who was convinced he was hearing god and had no problem murdering his son because that voice told him so. what is there to honor about him?

his ego? hearing a voice automatically makes you assume you are so special that god himself is talking to you?

"what if Jehovah had not stopped him? What would your view of Abraham be now?"
if we would know for a fact that abraham was real, my opinion of him would not have changed. my opinion of god would be changed to "holy crp, this supreme being demands human sacrifices and is therefore a monster, let's all cower in fear that such a bastard decides on a whim if we live or die"

abraham failed his test. god wanted to know if abe was able to think for himself and the answer was "hell, no". he wanted to know if he would kill someone else (his son no less) and abe declared "sure, anything you say boss"
