@ghost-of-a-duke saidSo you admit that your role as (whatever it is you are) supporting a team of qualified mental health professionals lends you no more credence to say Suzianne’s claim about me bridging Russ is not delusional, than me saying it is delusional?
No. It's because I'm not a qualified psychiatrist. Clients are referred to our service when they are already 'in the system' and have a diagnosis.....Obviously.
Edit: FMF says I'm not a 'professional' and yourself that I'm 'not qualified.' You are both incorrect. I am a mental health professional and I am qualified for the work I do in mental health. (This work does not involve diagnosing people or prescribing medication).
@ghost-of-a-duke saidAs I said, I don't think your personal opinions about posters here on this message board are "verified" in any way by what your day job is.
I think you have lost the plot at this point. - I work in mental health and you don't think my work gives me any insight into delusions. In contrast, you 'don't' work in mental health and yet feel at liberty to pigeon hole somebody as delusional.
@divegeester saidWho claimed you were 'bridging' Russ?
So you admit that your role as (whatever it is you are) supporting a team of qualified mental health professionals lends you no more credence to say Suzianne’s claim about me bridging Russ is not delusional, than me saying it is delusional?
Edit: I have more insight than you into the appropriate use of 'delusional.'
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don't think your day job has any bearing on what you choose to say on this forum when you openly talk about having that person's back, something you have essentially conceded makes you partisan and inconsistent. The only principle I think that's in play here is your loyalty.
I think you have lost the plot at this point. - I work in mental health and you don't think my work gives me any insight into delusions.
@fmf saidAnd more to the point, not verified by the work you do.
As I said, I don't think your personal opinions about posters here on this message board are "verified" in any way by what your day job is.
Edit: Your own argument is that nobody here (even if working in mental health) is in the position to say whether another poster is or is not delusional.
Well, that includes you too, doesn't it?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidUnlike you, I don't claim my opinion is "verified". You either agree with it or you don't. I don't think your job has anything whatsoever to do with you covering for your online friend.
And more to the point, not verified by the work you do.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidAnd yet you are unable to speak about its "appropriate use" if posters like Suzianne and others use it.
I have more insight than you into the appropriate use of 'delusional.'

@ghost-of-a-duke saidMy argument is that Suzianne sometimes makes delusional claims. If you don't think she does, so be it.
Your own argument is that nobody here (even if working in mental health) is in the position to say whether another poster is or is not delusional.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt is your prerogative to disagree with how I describe her occasional fantasist tales.
Well, that includes you too, doesn't it?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidShe has been calling me delusional for years. You have never ever commented on it.
Delusional has been used incorrectly by everybody in this thread, including Suzianne.
