@ghost-of-a-duke saidThis is irrelevant.
I have myself in the past been totally convinced about something, only later to discover I was mistaken. - Did that make me delusional,...or are you perhaps incorrectly using the term?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidBut her claim was delusional. That she has dialed it back in the meantime is neither here nor there. I have never claimed that she is always delusional or that every one of her posts is delusional.
No it isn't. It puts the Suzianne thing into context. We can all believe things without being delusional.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNot at all. It was just a silly thing you said. Like the stuff about a halibut or leprechauns.
That 'nuanced' thing really got to you, hey?

@fmf saidYou falsely claimed I had dialled back the work I did in mental health. (I have never claimed to diagnose people with mental illness). Was I also delusional, despite you being the one who was incorrect?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI haven't accused you of being delusional.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don't think your opinions about posters here are "verified" in any way by your day job.
That's because you were the one who was incorrect.

@fmf saidI think you are rather keen to strip away any professionalism from the work I do and a little intimidated about the insights I have gained by working for so many years in mental health.
I don't think your opinions about posters here are "verified" in any way by your day job.
Am I delusional for believing that?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don't think your opinions about posters here are "verified" in any way by your day job but I don’t think you are delusional if you believe they are.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThat was a point blank answer.
It's okay, you don't have to answer the question.

@fmf saidI think you have lost the plot at this point. - I work in mental health and you don't think my work gives me any insight into delusions. In contrast, you 'don't' work in mental health and yet feel at liberty to pigeon hole somebody as delusional.
I don't think your opinions about posters here are "verified" in any way by your day job but I don’t think you are delusional if you believe they are.
As Dive would say, comedy gold.
