Yes, definitely.
There were fights where huge monsters of a man could not even look in Tyson's eyes during the ref's instructions, and their fear was clearly visible.
Well, Lennox Lewis, Holyfield, Buster Douglas and Danny Williams (Google him) could certainly look him in the eye, and then give him a beating

That was later in his career, as his life began to unravel.

@chaney3

?? Douglas was in 1990!

If someone is being put forward as the 'best ever' you have to look at their whole career, the highs and occasional lows, and make a balanced judgement.

By 1990 Tyson was the most feared man on the planet.

Not after Buster Douglas beat him!

Yes, for a while before that, everyone thought Tyson was unbeatable. Very similar to those who thought George Foreman was unbeatable in the 70s after he beat Joe Frazier.

They both were very beatable, and neither come close to being the greatest Heavyweight, never mind greatest boxer, of all time

Yes, this man here:

I gotta go with Ali. I believe his brain would overpower Tyson's brawn. He proved it with Forman.
Wrong. Even with both in there prime, Tyson would have destroyed Ali.

It would certainly be THE FIGHTS to see!

I believe ali in his prime was quicker than Tyson hands down, now Tyson could pack some punch if he connected with Ali who was hard to hit in his Prime he would taunt his opponent with his hands down by his side dancing around.

Erm....as Ali is/was 24 years older than Tyson, I don't think he was suggesting they had a scrap in 1990, when Ali was 48!

Ali at his best would have cut Tyson to ribbons, and sent the bully home crying. Ali, late 60s, was the man

I agree with you. Don't mind hoh, he is a bit rough around the edges but quite harmless. 😉

@lemondrop

You got a link for that?

I would say the one he landed within 2 minutes on Michael Spink was impressive
