@ghost-of-a-duke saidSuzianne and I are forum foes, have been for well over a decade. If she chooses to lie about herself publicly and complains about being called out for it, that’s her problem. The fact that you think I’m always trying to catch her lying is a function of her frequently lying, not my looking for it.
When it comes to Suzianne it's even worse. Nothing she says you take as honest, always looking for an angle to accuse her of lying.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIf she did say she saved so many lives on the streets of her city that she has no idea how many there were, would you see it as delusional?
To show how nonsensical it is to use such a term in the context being discussed. Suzianne is no more delusional than you or I.
@divegeester saidI dread any environment I have limited control over.
Ah the central heating was it, that’s what makes you dread your team meetings. I see.
Edit: When I am near to a radiator I feel it on my skin as though standing in front of an open oven door. I'm sure you could tolerate such a thing for a few minutes, but try doing that for a couple of hours.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI’m happy either way. For me trusting someone or not trusting them only matters when they are part of your life.
I find I'm a happier person in life trusting what people say is true, especially when there is no reason to doubt them.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidOh I understand what being n a hot room with glaring lights feels like, it’s not a rare phenomenon.
And if you spent any time in our meeting room you would understand, especially for a prolonged period of time. But whatever.
I just don’t believe that was what you were referring to when you said you dreaded your team meetings.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo I haven’t.
He sees things in a straight line, often missing nuances in conversation. Haven't you noticed?
Hey… maybe I’m a bit thick also.
“Thick” seems to be a word you don’t mind “throwing around”

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo.
Can you link to where she actually said that?
But you are dodging the question.
IF she DID say she saved so many lives on the streets of her city that she has no idea how many there were, WOULD you see it as delusional?

@divegeester saidYou called me a liar when I gave my reasons for studying theology. Why would I lie about such a thing?
Isn’t this what you do, what everyone does?
I do believe most of what you say depending on the topic; there are a couple of topics about which I believe virtually nothing you say because it’s blatantly obvious that your not being truthful.
Perhaps you should ration out calling people a liar.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI doubt he’ll be able to; I do have the links to that and the abduction claims, but the threads got deleted during the phase of gang-alerting threads to get that to happen.
Can you link to where she actually said that?
Of course that little gimmick has been closed down now. And who is the person who bleats about it being changed to subscribers only… Suzianne. Now why would that be I wonder.
16 Sep 23
@divegeester saidAnd "sicko" and "evil".
“Thick” seems to be a word you don’t mind “throwing around”

@divegeester saidYour mistrust here reflects on you, not me.
This is exactly what Suzianne says when I catch her lying about something. It’s as though she thinks that by simply typing “I’m telling the truth” means it IS the truth and somehow I will magically believe her nonsense.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don’t think I called you a liar, what I inferred was that it wasn’t the whole story. You are pretty smart person and I don’t think you’d make a decision like that based only on you seeking “passionate discussions”. Nor do I think you truly believe religion and politics are the only topics people have passionate discussions about. What about mental health for an obvious example.
You called me a liar when I gave my reasons for studying theology. Why would I lie about such a thing?
Perhaps you should ration out calling people a liar.
@divegeester saidYour default setting seems to be that most things you read are lies. I find that a little sad to be honest.
