Correct, but at least you can see that they are, nevertheless, scientists. There are plenty of them teaching biology, chemistry, and physics at Christian schools like Liberty and Bob Jones University. I don't happen to agree with them, but I am not so arrogant as to call them morons.
EDIT - Well I go to a Christian school, and I'm sure the science here is fine, but it's not one of those fruitcake schools like BJU.

And atheistic christian or a creationist scientist? What's the difference? Oxymorons both of them. Or perhaps just morons.

Creationists are continuasly instulting real scientists by claiming creationissm *is* science. It's not more science than every mumbo jumbo, including 'flat earth' or 'earth is in the center of universe. Both of wich was claimed by the christian church.
I don't lock down on people who disagrees with me, I don't burn disagreers on fire, that christians did when when Bruno didn't agree with the church.
I certainly feel insulted when flat earthers and creationists, in the name of god, claim that they are working side by side with honorable scientists. What a shame!

So does that mean you yourself don’t ever “completely reject that others with DEGREES as good as or better than yours” such as scientists that have DEGREES better than yours that have done actual research into such fields of science as carbon-dating, geology etc and hold different opinions from yourself such as their expert opinion (which is well qualified by the evidence as well as their own personal research) that the Earth is many millions of years old etc?
Have you got a science degree?

belief, I don't name call simply because someone has a belief, it is
the facts on the ground that matter, and not everyone is presenting
facts here. I also don't say "YOU ARE WRONG" I do not have proof
for those things I say I believe about the distant past, and I
acknowledge I could be wrong, it doesn't add to or take away from
any point of view I have whatever about the age of the earth and the
universe is either way. I also do not automatically agree with somoene
because they have a degree, I will give them a better hearing, but
like all people they can be wrong, so it is what they are saying not the
letters behind their names that matter. I don't talk about my personal
life here except to those I trust here in private, I get enough name
calling as it is without adding to that fire.

Did I call you by an offensive name? -or any other kind of name?
Can I drag this thread kicking and screaming back to the question?
I'm planning on emailing my findings so far to the YEC tonight, so I thought I would prompt you all again. Can anyone find reference to one of these tree fossils spanning multiple hundreds of years worth of sedimentary layers?

No frills, I was an unremarkable student. But having earned a degree in a "hard" science (as some refer to bio/chem/physics), and having worked in a science environment, I claim the right to say that I'm a scientist. I don't think that's being at all presumptuous, right? I got a paycheck for running experiments, logging data, ...you know, grunt work,; but I say that counts. And I'm not anti-science, I'm very pro science. I'm also a Christian---VERY Christian. I believe God created the earth--making me a creationist.
As I've said, there are no creationist scientists. Those who think they can be scientists when they in fact are anti-science creationists doesn't know much about science, QED.
So, I am by definition, a Christian creationist scientist.

Is that an accurate statement?
