I don't excuse people's behaviour on the basis that it is "part of their religious beliefs". I look at what is said and comment on that. Your post I replied to explains exactly why you never address issues with people you like, especially other Christians.
You use the word "explains" like it really, truly explains something. You have hugely overinflated the importance and correctness of your opinion. Never mind being absolutely wrong.

Firstly, I have had conversations with other Christians where I express my differing opinion. And secondly, my theology is apparently not your theology. And yet you think this is a reason to incessantly attack me for not agreeing with you, or for not throwing myself wholeheartedly on your side in whatever matter is under discussion. I've told you numerous times that I find your theology 'not exactly mainstream'. And yet you think it's perfectly okay to slam others who simply disagree with you. We agree on a lot, but you don't care about that. All you care about is that I also engage in slamming those who disagree. I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that, and I'm sorry if you think that means I'm "evil" or that I have another "agenda".

Intolerance really doesn't suit you, yet you parade it around daily on these forums. Perhaps you should concentrate on living in a world where not everyone agrees with you without being "offended" or thinking that they have a "frayed moral fibre" or a "lack of compassion" or are "just ignorant".

Another point being middle America posting at 3am on the weekend in her late 30s/early 40s. The sad life of a single woman who hates the world.

It's a string of straight ahead declarative clauses:

I infuriate you.
I am te ...[text shortened]... fly off the handle all the time.

No beating around the bush. Just plain, direct, forthright.
And several points are simply not true. I'll leave it as an exercise for you to figure out which, as if you don't know. This fumbles with the directness of other points. But I'm not here to take you to school, or to convince you that I see what you're doing.

And now, I've said, "Good day", sir!

At least I don't start multiple threads bragging about how many airports I've been in. "Something, something, something about the sad life of a single man... something, something."

Look, I know you hate me for getting you kicked out of the JDs. But that's no reason to continue stalking me. You got me kicked out of the MUTI club... one might think that was enough retribution.

I'm only going to say this ONE more time: Stop stalking me.

If you think I'm "slamming" you for letting Grampy Bobby's horrible comments pass because you see them as part of his religious beliefs, then that is up to you.

If you interpret me calling you out for excusing comments from Grampy Bobby such as [people who commit suicide are an insult to God and to their families] as you displaying a frayed moral fibre, a lack of compassion or perhaps you being ignorant....as "slamming" you.

Then fine, I can totally live with that.

No, it's not okay, but I'm not a *cough* Pastafarian *cough*.

I'm not about to get into a knock-down drag-out fight with other Christians. Christ commanded that we show love for our Christian brothers. That's not to say we can't disagree. But we shouldn't hate them, or even treat them like dirt, for simply disagreeing on a point of doctrine. Those who would are guilty of the sin of vanity.

😵

P.S. I was kicked out of the JDs the same time everyone else was when SJ decided she had had enough of the clan and closed it. And you got yourself removed from MUTI, not me.

And this is another point we do not see eye-to-eye on.

You seem to have a highly self-centered opinion of yourself, so therefore you are intolerant of being disagreed with. Maybe you see it as an attack on you, I don't know. This must be why you still denigrate GB's comments as "horrible". Because he disagreed with you.

I said nothing about you slamming me. (Read it again, but drop your vanity when you do.) And yet everything you just posted is centered on the idea that I think you're slamming me. Way to disregard everything else I posted, which was, well, everything I posted.

News flash: Not everyone you meet is going to agree with everything you say. Learn to understand that that's okay. They're not necessarily "horrible" for doing so, or having a "frayed moral fibre" or a "lack of compassion" or "just ignorant". Tolerance is one thing the world simply doesn't have enough of. But it is contagious. Spread more of it around and you get more back. Too many problems in the world are simply the result of intolerance. Love is tolerant. This is why we're commanded to "Love your neighbor". Maybe we should start with "Tolerate your neighbor", and work up to "Love".

Again, only your opinion because you see me as always disagreeing with you.

If you think this, why didn't you say so on the thread about there being "a line in the sand" and all people being either on one side of it or the other?
