Just an old guy having fun pushing wood. I’ve been playing chess for more years than many could say they have been in the world. What you might call very sad indeed is the fact that after all my effort I have had little consistent improvement in my game. If it were not for the sheer enjoyment of playing I would have to say it was indeed a big waste of time. Now I’m retired and have begun to poke at strategy, tactics, and opening ideas. I wish I had become serious long time ago.
