Picked up chess again through this site after 20 or so years not playing much, and am enjoying it immensely. Used to play to county standard (lower tables) and then lapsed, and am gradually picking it up again.
But as you can probably tell from my profile I'm not really improving my game much these days. I'd like to blame playing too many games at once but I suspect that beer and a propensity to make moves after a night out have some small influence too.
I'll be tempted to time out in tournament and clan matches.
