I am a retired principal of a special education k-12 program in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. I have played chess since childhood but only for fun, never competitively. I like to win, but I enjoy the "poetry" of chess even more - with all its infinite possiblities. I don't mind losing a good game that is well played.
