I learned the rules at an early age, seventy-plus years ago. Since then I have not played much, except for a couple of years in my twenties when we used to try to squeeze a whole game into short lunch-breaks at work. Still very much a beginner, and only looking for games as an occasional, non-serious, pastime. Now retired, and I like to have two or three games on the go; prone to careless errors!
Other interests: science and nature, environment, world religion/atheism, socialism, finding leisure pursuits on a low budget!
