I am a fifth year student at the University of Nebraska of English and Philosophy. I learned chess in third grade during a special class for above average students (which was not a difficult honor to attain in small town South Carolina), and played occasionally on and off with my brother and friends. In my first year of high school, I reinstated the University chess club, acting as President for a year. I briefly assisted members of the Lincoln Chess Foundation helping educate children in the ways of chess in a public school and a local library. I'm a casual player with an increasing interest in more advanced strategy and tactics, just getting my feet wet with some of the well-established main lines. I check my games multiple times per day if you would like an opponent who won't abandon your games.
