Have you noticed, friends? There is a new trial tournement, the "2016 November Black Friday Trial Tournament I", and its settings are: Timeout 1 day, Timebank 3 days. God listened our prayers 😉
Hermanvdl: you are one of the reasons. Your game is finished just 4 days ago. Three months for one game. And you have the nerve to complain! The crow said to the blackbird: As you're black!
Unfreakingbelievable! There shouldn't be any problem moving at least once or twice per day. I mean this is ridiculous! Summer will be here before Round 2!!
(.....) To eliminate this issue it would be sufficient to modificate the setting as following: 1 day as timeout, 0 days (or prudentially 3 days, but no more) as timebank. Who doesn't play would go over soon and the tournament would be much more living and interesting for the wide majority that finds much more funny playing chess than sleeping in waiting.
In my opinion, 3/7 as settings is source of an intolerable slowness. When the number of competitors is so high, it's easy that, among many people, there's someone that makes only one move per day or even one every two days. That is lack of respect for everyone else. Such a behaviour by only one player is sufficient to block the tournament. I'm asking myself: who is not interested, for which mysterious reason has wanted to take part? (.....)
1/3 - without me! 3/1 is OK

Rules can't be modified for a tourney in progress. Only for the next.
Guys, the tournament lasts too long!!!
Is it possible to change the time to move from 3/7 to 1/3 days in the next round?
how are the pairings determined? it seems odd that the top two (before the tourney started) Velma & Xena are playing in this third round.

A bit more quickness would not be a catastrophe 🙂 Otherwise the Christmas of the title will be the next one.
