Game 10 was awful.

(waste of a graphic, I’ve only done 12, I’ll need more.)
The players fulfilled their contact by playing game 10 and that is all.
Do not despair I have found an RHP game that has the same position
as Game 10 so I note up that one and just give a few notes to game 10.
Ding Liren - D. Gukesh Game Ten, World Chess Championship 2024
1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Bf4 e6 4. e3 c5 5. Be2 Bd6 6. dxc5 Bxc5 7. c4 O-O 8. O-O Nc6 9. Nc3 dxc4 10. Bxc4 {Now a 20 minute thinks from Gukesh} 10... Nh5 {Interesting. I was thinking 11.Qc2 Nxf4 12.exf4 and clamping on the e5 square. I prefer Knights to Bishops.} 11. Bg5 {And that was after Ding had a 20 minute think.} 11... Be7 {11....f6 weakening e6 was an option but too big a decision at this stage.} 12. Ne4 {I did not expect that. We will see if Gukesh did. How long will he take.} 12... Nf6 {Played quite quickly. Piece trades are in the air and when Black gets that c8 Bishop out....a draw.} 13. Nxf6+ {...and here we go...13...gxf6 and e5 to get the c8 Bishop out....yes?} 13... Bxf6 {No. Now b2 hangs} 14. Qxd8 {I'm not liking this. The game is now like a deflated balloon} 14... Rxd8 {Allowing doubled pawns but Black is OK. 14...Bxd8 15. Rfd1 White has something due to the c8 Bishop.} 15. Bxf6 gxf6 16. Rfd1 Bd7 17. Rac1 Be8 18. Rxd8 Rxd8 {Maybe Ding's tactic is to hope Gukesh takes a risk (where..when?) and we can get a game of chess.} 19. Kf1 {Hopefully the players will find a way to three fold rep before move 41.} 19... Kg7 20. a3 {Tidying up the position. Pawns on the opposite square of the Bishop.} 20... f5 {The Black King can now come to f6.} 21. Ke1 {I got that King move wrong.} 21... Kf6 {I got that King move right!} 22. Be2 {Ah...so that is why The White king went to e1. Rc4-Rh4 Kg7 Rc4 etc....} 22... Ne7 23. g3 {Tidying up the position. Pawns on the opposite square of the Bishop. (yes I've already said that.)} 23... Rc8 24. Rxc8 Nxc8 25. Nd2 {Now where is going...} 25... Nd6 26. Nc4 {...here to get chopped.} 26... Nxc4 27. Bxc4 Bc6 28. f4 b6 {The player now blitzed out their moves.} 29. Kd2 Ke7 30. Kc3 Kd6 31. b4 f6 32. Kd4 h6 33. Bb3 Bb7 34. Bc4 Bc6 {Good they have found a way to kill this off.} 35. Bb3 Bb7 {Draw.}
reyotch - patzer1 RHP 2007
1. Nf3 Nf6 2. d4 d5 3. c4 e6 4. Nc3 Be7 5. Bf4 O-O 6. e3 c5 7. dxc5 Bxc5 8. Be2 Nc6 9. O-O dxc4 10. Bxc4 Nh5 11. Bg5 Be7 {This is where Ding played 12.Ne4} 12. Bxe7 Qxe7 {With the Queens still on we get a good game} 13. Rc1 a6 14. Bb3 Na5 {Chasing the Bishop the where it wants to go. Bringing the h5 Knight back to f6 was OK.} 15. Bc2 Rd8 16. Nd4 {Now 16...Nf6.} 16... e5 {A blunder. Game on.} 17. Bxh7+ Kxh7 18. Qxh5+ Kg8 19. Nf3 {White has won a pawn and has the makings of a promising Kingside attack.} 19... f6 20. Rfd1 Be6 21. Qh4 {Threatening Nxe5} 21... Nc6 22. a3 {Not sure about that. It invites Black's next move.} 22... Bb3 23. Rf1 {Does not seem right but it does avoid exchanges.} 23... Rd7 24. Ne4 Bf7 {Running back to plug up the Kingside.} 25. Nfd2 {OOPS! does f5 not win a piece?} 25... f5 26. Ng5 Rxd2 27. Qh7+ Kf8 {Did White miss 28.Qh8+ Bg8, surely not .} 28. Qxf5 {Two pawns and a bit of an attack for the piece. Usually this can be OK at RHP level.} 28... Rxb2 {I would not have touched that pawn. 28...Qd7 get the Queens off before I blunder defending is my choice.} 29. f4 {It is getting a wee bit hairy. 29...e5 to keep the files closed.} 29... Ke8 {This walks into a trick based on the loose b2 Rook. I know what was played I would liked to have found it before seeing it.} 30. Rxc6 {Well played, Alert stuff.} 30... bxc6 31. Nxf7 {And if 31,,,Qxf7 32. Qxe5+ and 33. Qxb2} 31... exf4 {Opening the files for White. How about 32...Rxg2+ and then Qxf7.} 32. Qxf4 {The same Qe5+ check is still on and now Rxg2+ is not an option.} 32... Rbb8 {That looks crazy. 32...Rab8 must be better. It is still still grim for Black but Rbb8 is bad.} 33. Ne5 {With all kinds if threats, Far too many to list.} 33... Qf6 {I do not think White will be swapping Queens.} 34. Qg3 Qh6 {Nothing can save Black from here on in.} 35. Ng6 Rb5 36. Qd6 {Correctly covering the flight squares. Now how does one stop Rf8 mate.} 36... Qxe3+ 37. Kh1 Rf5 {Not bad. Countless of RHP players have been back rank mated with a hasty move such as 38.Rxf5 but....} 38. Qxc6+ {It is not going to happen here.} 38... Kd8 39. Rd1+ {Black resigned. It is mate in three.}
